Ham Radio Winter Field Day 2025. Winter field day is held the last full weekend in january. Amateur radio operators have the freedom to use frequencies on the hf, vhf, or uhf bands while employing voice, cw, and digital transmissions.

For 2025, it will be held on january 25th and 26th. Every june, more than 40,000 hams throughout north america set up temporary transmitting stations in public places to demonstrate ham radio’s science, skill and service to our communities and our nation.
